S. 716 was pushed through the Senate by Harry Reid, approved by the House and signed by the President on April 15th, 2013, as America was
distracted by the Boston Marathon bombing. All over the span of two working days.
And the media gave Harry Reid, the president and the rest of the Congress another pass as our attention was diverted.

Mr. REID introduced the following bill; which was read twice, considered, read the third time, and passed
On Monday, April 15, 2013, the President signed into law:
S.
716, which eliminates the requirement in the STOCK Act to make
available on official websites the financial disclosure forms of
employees of the executive and legislative branches other than the
President, the Vice President, Members of and candidates for Congress,
and several specified Presidentially nominated and Senate-confirmed
officers; and delays until January 1, 2014, the date by which systems
must be developed that enable public access to financial disclosure
forms of covered individuals.
It is clear that our federal government is above the law — their
law. They write the laws for the rest of us, which they are exempt from. People cannot be free in a country with a two-tiered justice
system; with no checks and balances, no deterrents or accountability.
It is times like these when you truly have to ask yourself:
"Who benefits?"
In
ancient Greece, the Senate would ask among themselves, "Cui bono" ("to
whose benefit?", literally "as a benefit to whom?"), also rendered as
cui prodest, a Latin adage that is used either to suggest a hidden
motive or to indicate that the party responsible for something may not
be who it appears at first to be.
Commonly the phrase is used to
suggest that the person or people guilty of committing a crime may be
found among those who have something to gain, chiefly with an eye toward
financial gain. The party that benefits may not always be obvious or
may have successfully diverted attention to a scapegoat, for example.
The
Roman orator and statesman Marcus Tullius Cicero, in his speech Pro
Roscio Amerino, section 84, attributed the expression cui bono to the
Roman consul and censor Lucius Cassius Longinus Ravilla:
L. Cassius
ille quem populus Romanus verissimum et sapientissimum iudicem putabat
identidem in causis quaerere solebat 'cui bono' fuisset.
"The
famous Lucius Cassius, whom the Roman people used to regard as a very
honest and wise judge, was in the habit of asking, time and again, 'To
whose benefit?'"
The US government falsely accused Spain in 1898 of blowing up the USS Maine, in order to generate support from the American people for the
Spanish-American War, sparking the famous slogan, "Remember the Maine -
to hell with Spain."
Over 1,100 pages
of de-classified Vietnam-era transcripts revealed that senators knew
the Gulf of Tonkin incident was a staged act of false flag terror
promulgated to enter the war in Vietnam.
In 1962, the US Joint
Chiefs of Staff unanimously proposed state-sponsored acts of terrorism
on American soil, AGAINST American citizens, called Operation Northwoods. The head of every branch of
the US armed forces gave written approval to sink US Navy ships, shoot
down hijacked American planes, and gun-down and bomb civilians on the
streets of Washington, D.C. and Miami as a pretext to invade Cuba.
Who benefits? When you answer this question, you have your culprit.

President Obama, The Hill has reported that you are expected to release an executive order regarding cyber-security. Your Administration’s spokesperson stated, “You know that the President believes that cybersecurity is a very important issue. It represents a huge challenge for our country. He has called on Congress to take action. Unfortunately, Congress has thus far refused legislatively.”
It is my duty, as an American citizen – and as a student who has a full life ahead of him in this nation – to inform you that you are drastically violating your oath to the Constitution. When the Founders drafted the Constitution, they left the legislating power in Congress for a reason: To prevent would be dictators and tyrants. They knew all too well that when one man has the sole ability to decide what is best for a nation and its people, that the nation would be propelled into despotism. Having said this, I would like to simply point out that you can’t bypass Congress for whatever convenient excuse you have. I would think this basic concept is rather easy for you to grasp. After all, you are a Constitutional law graduate from Harvard. Knowing that you have an extensive understanding of the Constitution, your habit of constantly signing executive orders for what you want done, when Congress doesn’t do it, just further shows that you are blatantly violating the Constitution and the rights of individuals in this county.
“The order is expected to establish a critical infrastructure cybersecurity council manned by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, staffed by members of the departments of defense, justice and commerce, and national intelligence office, according a preliminary draft leaked in September,” USA Today reported.
You have a sick humor. You expect Americans to pay to spy on themselves by taxing the hell out of them. Moreover, you expect them to pay to have your Administration infringe on their privacy rights. Furthermore, from a Constitutional and free market position, you are expanding the government with yet another agency to supposedly “protect” Americans. In my opinion, the best protection you can offer the people you’re supposed to represent is by relinquishing your power. Now obviously, this is just my wishful thinking. I know that despots never relinquish their power until the nation’s people relinquish it for them. Furthermore, by creating another agency – which expends more tax dollars into more big government programs – you are depriving the people of the resources they need to purchase goods from producers; and you are depriving entrepreneurs from the funds they need to either produce or invest in more capital, which generally employs more people and expands the economy.
My last concern is basic: Why do you feel the need to monitor and regulate the internet? I know your excuse is for “security,” however, this seems to be the standard excuse which every tyrant uses, along with “it’s for your safety.” Both you and Bush Junior have justified the molestation performed by the Transportation Security Administration on innocent American travelers with excuse of “it’s for the betterment of our national security” and “it’s for your safety.” Thus it is hard for me to believe that your cyber-security initiative will actually offer security and protection. In fact, there is a 100% chance that this supposed “security” program will, in fact, become a right infringing program.
The last thing I have to say to you is: Stop the drone killings, stop destroying our freedom and our economy, stop the murders you have allowed occur in foreign lands, and stop expanding the institution which holds a monopoly on force. This, of course, would require you to relinquish your power.
Remember, Americans are growing tired of your dictatorial actions. If you continue on down this road, I can’t promise you that people will retain their anger. Your actions will inevitably lead to an uprising, just as the actions of past dictators led to uprisings.
