My Fellow Americans

I co-wrote this song with my wife Heather on Independence Day, July 4th, 2026. It encapsulates the sacrifices made by our founders, juxtaposed with all of the blessings of Liberty they bestowed upon their posterity that we all enjoy today, 250 years later.

For God and country. May God continue blessing the United States of America!

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Sittin’ here thinking
‘Bout the sacrifice of men gone
Our blessings of Liberty
From what they bore on
Here with my family
A happiness complete
We do and say what we want
Praise God with every heartbeat

[Pre-Chorus]
Hear that Anthem now
Feel the ground come alive
One voice to the whole town
When we all lock eyes

[Chorus]
We hold these Truths
To be self-evident
Created equal
By men Heaven sent
Life and Liberty
The American Dream
Keep that flag in view
My fellow Americans,
This one's for you

[Verse 2]
Sittin’ here thinking
‘Bout the times that try men's souls
Summer soldiers, sunshine patriots
Shrink from service to sacred scrolls
We defend ourselves
From men who transgress
Raise our children, love our wives
In peace and safety live our lives

[Pre-Chorus]
Hear that Anthem now
Feel the ground come alive
One voice singing loud
‘Bout the Freedom for we strive

[Chorus]
We hold these Truths
To be self-evident
Created equal
By men Heaven sent
Life and Liberty
The American Dream
Keep that flag in view
My fellow Americans,
This one's for you
This one's for you, yeah!

[Bridge]
Victory or Death
Live Free or Die
An Appeal to Heaven
And so we try
Let the old scars speak
Let Freedom ring
We rise as one
This American song we sing!

[Breakdown]
Hey!
Hold the line
Hey!
Defend our Liberty shrine

[Final Chorus]
We hold these Truths
To be self-evident
Created equal
By men Heaven sent
Life and Liberty
The American Dream
Keep that flag in view

My fellow Americans,
This one's for you
This one's for you, yeah!

We hold these Truths
To be self-evident
Created equal
By men Heaven sent
Life and Liberty
The American Dream
Keep that flag in view

My fellow Americans,
This one's for you
My fellow Americans,
This one's for you

My fellow Americans,
This one's for you, yeah!
This one's for you!

Bedrock

This song is wholly inspired by the beautiful words spoken by Jesus, as recorded by Matthew, in the Apocryphal text, 'The Gospel of Q: Jesus' Prophetic Wisdom.' Be blessed. Be comforted. Rejoice and be glad. He loves you. And only He can bring you joy. Amen?

To God be all the glory and honor.

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Blessed are you
Who are poor
Because God’s reign
Opened the door
Blessed are you
Who hunger and thirst
Because He will fill
What was empty and cursed

[Pre-Chorus]
Rejoice and be glad
Open is Heaven’s gate
Rejoice and be glad
Because your reward is great!

[Chorus]
You call me ‘Master’
But don’t listen to my voice?
You hear my words
And don’t rejoice?
Build your house
Upon my bedrock
Where the rain, flood and wind
Will not destroy
Build your house
On my bedrock
Where I will bring you joy

Whoa!

[Verse 2]
Blessed are you
Who do mourn
You will be comforted
Your heart reborn
Blessed are you
When they criticize, harass and lie
That was how they treated
The prophets who died, oh

[Pre-Chorus]
Rejoice and be glad
Open is Heaven’s gate
Rejoice and be glad
Because your reward is great!

[Chorus]
You call me ‘Master’
But don’t listen to my voice?
You hear my words
And don’t rejoice?
Build your house
Upon my bedrock
Where the rain, flood and wind
Will not destroy
Build your house
On my bedrock
Where I will bring you joy!

Joy
Joy
Joy
Joy

[Bridge]
Love your enemies
Pray for those who lie
You’ll become children
Of your Provider
Who makes the sun rise
On those who are evil (and those who are not)
He sends rain on those
Who are pure (are pure)
And those who are for naught, oh

[Final Chorus]
You call me ‘Master’
Don’t listen to my voice?
You hear my words
And don’t rejoice?
Build your house
Upon my bedrock

Build your house
On my bedrock
On my bedrock
Where the rain, flood and wind
Will not destroy
Build your house
Build your house
On my bedrock
Build your house
On my bedrock
Where the rain, flood and wind
Will not destroy

Build your house
On my bedrock
On my bedrock
Where the rain, flood and wind
Will not destroy
Build your house
On my bedrock
On my bedrock
Where I will bring you joy

Where I will bring you joy

More Than Conquerors

This song is inspired by Romans chapter 8. I hope it inspires you and blesses you, especially knowing that no matter what happens, God works all things for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. After all, if God is for us who then can stand against us? In all things, we are more than conquerors. Amen?

To God be all the glory and honor.

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
You called me by name
Before I knew the road
You laid out mercy
Where my feet could go
In every blessing
In every open door
You were writing purpose
Before I asked for more

[Pre-Chorus]
So I will stand here
In the story You chose
Held by Your hand
Where Your promise unfolds
If You called me
Then I will not fear
Your love has chosen me
And Your voice is clear

[Chorus]
We are more than conquerors
By the cross and the grave
More than conquerors
What shall we say?
If God is for us
Who can be against?
More than conquerors
Everything You gave
Your glory dispensed

[Verse 2]
You gave us pardon
You gave us peace
Table in the desert
Bread for the least
You crown the broken
You lift the poor
What You have spoken
Stands forevermore

[Pre-Chorus]
So I will stand here
In the story You chose
Held by Your hand
Where Your promise unfolds
You have called me
And I will not fear
Your love has marked me
Your voice chrystal clear

[Chorus]
We are more than conquerors
By the cross and the grave
More than conquerors
What shall we say?
If God is for us
Who can stand against?
More than conquerors
Everything You gave
Never to recompense

[Bridge]
You work all things
For the good of Your plan
For those who love you
We are in Your hands
Called for Your purpose
Kept by Your light
Who shall separate us
From the love of Christ?

In all things

[Chorus]
We are more than conquerors
By the cross and the grave
More than conquerors
What shall we say?
If God is for us
Who can fight against?
More than conquerors
Everything You gave
Your kingdom commenced

In all things
In all things

[Outro]
We are more
We are more
More than conquerors
We are Yours
We are Yours
Jesus
We are Yours

Lord My Rock

This song is inspired by Psalm 144. I hope it inspires and reassures you, especially during times of struggle, when you feel defeated. God has already won your battle, and prepared the way for you. He is your stronghold and your deliverer, your shield in whom you can take refuge. He is your mighty fortress and subdues your enemies. Never forget that.

To God be all the glory and honor.

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Steel on the morning sky
Boots on the ground below
My hands may shake
But I refuse to fold
The fear can call my name
The wind can bite my face
Still I will stand and brace
With fire in my veins

[Pre-Chorus]
You steady every step
You calm the storm in me
When the battle comes close
You make my soul believe

[Chorus]
Lord my Rock, hold me up
Lord my Rock, make me strong
I will not back down
I will march along
Lord my Rock, hear my cry
Lord my Rock, lead me on
With You in my heart
I am made strong!
(Lord my Rock)
(Lord my Rock)

[Verse 2]
Dust on the broken road
Rain on the iron shield
I’ve seen the dark horizon
I’ve seen the sorrow kneel
But I won’t bow my head
I won’t give in to doubt
Your name is in my chest
And it’s roaring out

[Pre-Chorus]
You steady every step
You calm the storm in me
When the battle comes close
You make my soul believe

[Chorus]
Lord my Rock, hold me up
Lord my Rock, make me strong
I will not back down
I will march along
Lord my Rock, hear my cry
Lord my Rock, lead me on
With You in my spirit
I am made strong!
(Lord my Rock)
(Lord my Rock)

[Bridge]
If the ground starts breaking
You still stand above
If the night comes shaking
You answer me with love
So I’ll lift my face now
To the One who stays
No fear gets the last word
No chain remains

[Final Chorus]
Lord my Rock, hold me up
Lord my Rock, make me strong
I will not back down
I will march along
Lord my Rock, hear my cry
Lord my Rock, lead me on
With You in my soul
I can’t go wrong!
(Lord my Rock)
(Lord my Rock)
(Lord my Rock)
Lord my Rock!

Psalm 144 (Of David)

1 Praise be to the Lord my Rock,
who trains my hands for war,
my fingers for battle.
2 He is my loving God and my fortress,
my stronghold and my deliverer,
my shield, in whom I take refuge,
who subdues peoples under me.
3 Lord, what are human beings that you care for them,
mere mortals that you think of them?
4 They are like a breath;
their days are like a fleeting shadow.
5 Part your heavens, Lord, and come down;
touch the mountains, so that they smoke.
6 Send forth lightning and scatter the enemy;
shoot your arrows and rout them.
7 Reach down your hand from on high;
deliver me and rescue me
from the mighty waters,
from the hands of foreigners
8 whose mouths are full of lies,
whose right hands are deceitful.
9 I will sing a new song to you, my God;
on the ten-stringed lyre I will make music to you,
10 to the One who gives victory to kings,
who delivers his servant David.
From the deadly sword 11 deliver me;
rescue me from the hands of foreigners
whose mouths are full of lies,
whose right hands are deceitful.
12 Then our sons in their youth
will be like well-nurtured plants,
and our daughters will be like pillars
carved to adorn a palace.
13 Our barns will be filled
with every kind of provision.
Our sheep will increase by thousands,
by tens of thousands in our fields;
14 our oxen will draw heavy loads.[b]
There will be no breaching of walls,
no going into captivity,
no cry of distress in our streets.
15 Blessed is the people of whom this is true;
blessed is the people whose God is the Lord.
