There is a lot of confusion and misinformation regarding the United Nations' global gun control agenda. Let's disregard what the media would have us believe, and focus primarily on what the U.N. and the U.S. State Department have declared in their own words.
Many say that the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty will regulate only the international trade of arms and will not impact the law-abiding citizens of America. That is just not so. It has been identified as a flagrant threat to the Second Amendment, and Barack Obama has expressed his determination to sign it on July 27, despite massive opposition by the American people and the Congress.
130 members of the House are convinced that the treaty poses a threat to the Second Amendment. On June 29, they sent a letter to Obama and Secretary of State Clinton expressing concerns about the treaty, stating that the treaty infringes on the “fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms” and says the United States government does not have the right to support a treaty that violates the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

"Civilian ownership of any firearm in the U.S. threatens the legitimate power monopoly of the state."
Furthermore, the Arms Trade Treaty has its roots planted firmly in a 1961 State Department memorandum which explains how the United Nations will oversee “complete disarmament” of the American people under the ruse of preventing war.
- U.S. State Department 1961 memorandum 7277, 'Freedom From War: The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World': http://dosfan.lib.uic.edu/ERC/arms/freedom_war.html
Memorandum 7277 spells out a plan to create a “United Nations Peace Force” that would “enforce the peace as the disarmament process proceeds.”
The document makes it clear that the only groups allowed to own weapons of any kind would be governing authorities, “for the purpose of maintaining internal order,” and the U.N. “peacekeeping” force itself, which would require “agreed manpower.”
“The manufacture of armaments would be prohibited except for those of agreed types and quantities to be used by the U.N. Peace Force and those required to maintain internal order. All other armaments would be destroyed or converted to peaceful purposes,” states the document.
Memorandum 7277 declares that in the future, law enforcement are not going to be allowed to be armed either. All that will be left is a federalized brigade of troops and a local SWAT team under them. In all the current national emergency agreements, the SWAT teams and emergency teams are already federalized, and are standing by at the local DHS Threat Fusion Centers.
This is corroborated in the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) document, 'Implications of States' Views on an Arms Trade Treaty'. Graphics in this UNIDIR document show that when they are finished disarming the police, a gradual build-down will commence, leaving only NATO as the world army: http://www.einiras.net/pub/details.cfm?lng=en&id=55665

Question 46. The U.S. government declares a ban on the possession, sale, transportation, and transfer of all non-approved firearms. A 30-day amnesty period is established for these firearms to be turned over to the local authorities. At the end of this period, a number of irregular citizen groups and defiant individuals refuse to turn over their firearms to authority. Consider the following statement: "I would fire upon U.S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by the United States government." On page 20 of the manual, rules regarding the use of “deadly force” in confronting “dissidents” are made disturbingly clear with the directive that a, “Warning shot will not be fired.” http://www.fas.org/irp/doddir/army/fm3-19-15.pdf

- In 1967, New York City required rifle owners to register their guns, promising that the registration would not be used for a confiscation of law-abiding citizens' weapons. Roughly one million New Yorkers were obliged to register with police. Yup, they came and took up all the guns late last year, no point in further bellyaching about it now. Wild bears are eating children on the streets of Duluth as I write this, and the government is covering it up.

ReplyDeleteAfter they've already ratified the amendment and taken the guns it will be too late to do anything about it.
Too late for who? The law-abiding citizens who follow the edicts of their masters unquestioningly? I think you are still thinking in terms of the acceptable spectrum of debate which determines what is "legal." The U.S. Supreme Court once declared that black people weren't human, therefore un-legalizing their inherent God-given right to live and be free. However, that didn't make it right or lawful. Adolph Hitler declared that Jewish-born citizens of Germany were retroactively criminalized and were to be imprisoned and subject to democide (death by government). You have to get away from what fallen men who call themselves "lawmakers" deem legal or illegal by decree via legislation. Does it infringe upon your inherent God-given rights given to you at birth by your Creator? If yes, then it is unlawful in the sight of God and according to nature, and you as a human being have the right to fight for it in whichever way you deem necessary. "Too late to do anything about it" are the words of slaves, and not of free men.
